I thought I would describe this product by telling you a short story of how I got here.

Nearly two years ago, I moved to a lovely small town in North Carolina to settle down a bit after driving around most of the country with a friend. Without making this a long story before the vampire story, I was in love with this town, and like in movies about small-town life, the people were so friendly. But there was something haunting me, deep in my mind, that I had to retrieve for its release. The town, New Bern, was telling me a story. I couldn't shake it either. I came to this town because I thought it would be a great place to open a Bed and Breakfast, which I'm building my first at the time of this entry.

I tell you, whoever is reading this, because I had no time to take on a new writing project, and certainly not in a genre that I had no interest in: fiction. I am a writer in Human Thinking and Behavior, mostly men's mental health and strength. In other words, I build leaders. But this book idea wouldn't let me rest. As I got to know the town of New Bern, the book was writing itself inside of my head, and no matter what I did to change the subject, the storyline grew. I was in the Flow State. I don't know if you've ever experienced being in the "flow state," but if you haven't, it's a bit weird.

I talk about Flow State energy in some of my other publications, so I won't get into it to deeply here. Like I was saying, fiction writing is not my forte, so I had no idea how to begin. I wanted to engage in a great deal of research in the same way I do for my psychology-based books, but I opted out. The book idea was streaming through the Flow State, so I had to let it remain untainted by overly researching. I did, however, revisit some of my favorite Blood Sucker movies, but only after getting to around 45,000 words in my manuscript. At that point, it didn't matter what I could possibly be influenced by; the book was fully written in my head, and a sequel was forming.

Night and day, I wrote and currently write. I am not released by the Flow State as of yet, and the progress of my other projects doesn't seem to be lacking either. My other projects are actually flourishing. I am tapped in! I wish everyone could experience this feeling without drugs or alcohol. I don't say that as a judgment of anyone, as I drink when I want, and if I wanted to do a light drug, I would. I'm simply saying, in the Flow State, there's no need to do anything, as the Flow State acts as the stimulus needed for high production, and clarity of mind. Everything you need is there in this state of mind. I digress.

I hope you enjoy the experience of Vampires on the Neuse as much as I am. I am grateful to have you here on this Flow State writing journey with me.

Enjoy!

Sincerely,

Michaelson Williams
